Description

Dedicated to developing and enhancing current and future leaders of Deer Park. The LPD is run under the leadership of the Deer Park Chamber Foundation which is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Therefore, your investment is tax-deductible. Class members meet once a month generally on the first Friday of the month, there are a couple of exceptions. Event days are designed to educate and introduce the group to key business and community leaders as well as make the classes aware of the needs of the community. Each class highlights a specific industry whether it is city government, state government, health, education, servant leadership, public safety, transportation, and industry. Activities include tours, speaker presentations, leadership training, and interactive learning to help participants fully explore the realm of each industry identified. The trip to Austin educates participants on the governmental process as well as provides them with a thorough knowledge of the impact governmental affairs have on the Deer Park community. These educational opportunities are made possible through the generosity of our sponsors and we are grateful for their support of our educational endeavors to serve our business members.
